Ingredients Qty for 6 portions
- Butter (2 ½ cup)
- Icing sugar (1 ½ cup)
- Eggs (5 nos)
- Flour (3 ¾ cup)
- Baking powder (1 tsp)
- Almond powder (1 ¼ cup)
- Cinnamon powder (3 tsp)
- Cardamom ( 1 tsp)
- Blanched almond (½ cup)
Method
- Mix butter & icing sugar add eggs one by one, till fully incorporated.
- Mix all the rest dry ingredients except Blanched almond, and mix with the batter.
- Chill it, in a refrigerator for 20 to 30 Min; roll it 5 mm thick, cut Round or Desired shape place one blanched almond on top of each cookie and bake at 170 to 180 degree Celsius for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven
Chef tips
Do not allow the mix to be curdled while adding eggs to the mixture.
Sieve the flour and baking powder and keep aside.
