Banana fitters are made of bananas coated with seasoned flour batter and deep fried. It is a kerala special called as Pazam pori and is my favourite. It is a wonderful snack with a hot cup of tea.
This dish is popular in Kerala, the Southern part of India.
- Ripe banana (2)
- Chick peas flour (1 cup)
- Rice flour (1 tsp)
- Cumin seeds (1/2 tsp)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- Water (1 & 1/2 cup)
- Cooking oil (to deep fry)
Peal the skin of banana and cut into halves.
In a bowl, add chick peas flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, salt, water, mix well to make a batter.
Immerse the banana into this batter.
Deep fry in slow flame till the bananas turn light golden brown in color.
Banana fritters are now ready to be served with a hot cup of tea
